The engagement shoot gives me the
opportunity to have some fun with you, and get to know you before
your wedding day.
Some couples think an engagement shoot is unnecessary, but from
the photographers perspective it can make a significant difference
to the outcome of your wedding photography. By knowing
you and how you interact with each other, I can better prepare for
candid shots on your wedding day.
Also, the other major benefit of
an engagement shoot is that
you get to know me and see how I work, and you get to see images
of yourselves long before your wedding. Once you see your engagement images and you're excited about
them, on your wedding day you won't be nervous about having your
photograph taken and your images will be better as a result.
If the engagement shoot location is further than 80km from Almonte
(Eg: Toronto) the client is responsible for travel & accommodation
costs. Usually clients call me on a Thursday or Friday
(once we know what the weather will be like), to book an
engagement shoot for the following Sunday.
If you would like to book just an
engagement shoot (free engagement shoot with the purchase of a
package), the cost is $395 for:
- One hour shoot at a location
of your choice
- 20-30 High Resolution Images
presented on CD
- Two 8x12" photographs
